Day 1 Arrive at Kunming (-/-/-)

Welcome to Kunming, where the political, economic, communications and cultural center of Yunnan lies. Because of its year-round temperate climate, Kunming is often called the "Spring City". We meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon we will have a city tour with stops
at Qiongzhu Temple, the flower and bird markets.
Day 2 Kunming / Stone Forest (B/L/-)

Today's highlight is the visit of the Stone Forest.
Drive to Shilin and visit Stone Forest, the geological Karst wonder with the colorful Sani people living around. Stone Forest is one of the natural wonders of Yunnan, a World Heritage site. It consists of gray karst limestone rocks, covering an area of 400 km2 (96,000 acres) and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots.
Day 3 Stone Forest / Jianshui (B/L/-)

Drive to Jianshui, a small country town in southern Yunnan. It is a cultural city. We will visit Confucius' Temple and Zhu' s Garden. This grand complex with its labyrinth of 42 courtyards and magnificent Chinese architecture is something now rarely seen in China. Then a stop at Chaoyang Gate Arch, its significance to Jianshui is the same as that of Tiananmen to Beijing; thus it has enjoyed the reputation of "the Miniature Tiananmen" .
Day 4 Jianshui / Yuanyang (B/L/-)

Drive to Yuanyang to visit the Jingkou Hani People' s Village. Many ethnic groups, The Dai, The Yao and the The Miao, live in the Ailao mountains. Women who are expert at tie-dying and embroidery. The Hani and Yi ethnic groups live on the mountain sides amidst tea plantations. Their terraced fields are one of the most inspiring scenes in southern Yunnan resembling silver ladders, stretching from the foot of the mountains to the summit. Stay in local hotel.
Day 5 Yuanyang (B/L/-)
Visit the Sheng Village Terrace Fields with spectacular views and see Tiger Mouth Terrace Field. Yuanyang rice terraces are without doubt the most beautiful and spectacular paddy fields in China! Those rice fields have been carved on the mountains by the Hani people for centuries. Catching a sunrise or sunset on those terraces full of water is one of the greatest highlights to any trip in China.
Day 6 Yuanyang / Jingping / Hekou (B/L/- )

Drive to Hekou, you will see more great terraced fields and villages of minority people. Arrive at Hekou which is the border town between China and Vietnam
Day 7 Hekou (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will be escorted to the border, see you off.
