Day 1 Arrive at Kunming (-/-/-)

Welcome to Kunming, where the political, economic, communications and cultural center of Yunnan lies. Because of its year-round temperate climate, Kunming is often called the "Spring City". We meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon we will have a city tour with stops
at Qiongzhu Temple, the flower and bird markets.
Day 2 Kunming / Dali (B/L/-)

We travel by coach to Dali, on arrival, we transfer to hotel. Visit Zhonghe Temple, Take a cable car to a Cangshan Mountain, we will visit the famous and photogenic Three Pagodas, one of the major attractions in Dali and tour Dali ancient town.
Day 3 Dali (B/L/-)
Today we will go to Bai Village and Wei Shan stopping along the way to see Yi people. On our return to Dali we will visit the charismatic Foreign Street and pay a visit to Diangzhong Market.
Day 4 Dali / Lijiang (B/L/-)

Travel by van to Lijiang, which borders Tibet and is set in a beautiful valley. We will walk through the Lijiang Ancient Town and at noon we will be at the Market Square which at that time will be full of Naxi women in traditional dress. Parrots and plants adorn the front porches, women sell griddle cakes at teahouses, and almoners walk past with hunting birds proudly perched on their gloved fist. Cards are played with the players energetically slamming down trumps on a card table in the middle of the street. Embroidery and lengths of cloth are sold in shops around the market. Visits will be made to the Ancient Town, Black Dragon pool and Lion Hill Park where we can have a bird view of the ancient town.
Day 5 Lijiang (B/L/-)
The Ancient charismatic town of Lijiang dates back to the Song Dynasty (960- 1279) and it has been included in the World Cultural Heritage. It is surrounded by tree covered mountains with crystal clear water running through its centre; a charming location. You have a full-day visit to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Yufeng Lamasery, and a worthwhile and interesting stop at the Naxi Minority Folk Museum.
Day 6 Lijiang / Shangri-la (B/L/-)

Drive for about 4 hours from Lijiang to Shangri-la. Shangri-la has become a symbol for Oriental exoticism, the myth of Shangri-la was born in 1921 with the novel by James Hilton "Lost Horizon". In his book, Hilton describes a paradisiacal place in the foothills of the Himalayas. Drive to Shangri-la, a haven for mountaineers with stunning landscapes. On the way you will visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest Gorges in the world.
Day 7 Shangri-la (B/L/-)
We complete our tour based in Shangri-la with visits to Songzanlin Monastery, a 300-year-old Tibetan monastery complex with several hundred monks where the Yellow Hat School of Tibetan Buddhism is practiced. Next we visit Dabao Temple with its sea of Tibetan prayer flags and finally returns to the picturesque Old Town districts for Shangri-la, Stay overnight in Shangri-la.
Day 8 Shangri-la / Kunming/ Jianshui (B/L/-)

Fly to Kunming after breakfast and then transfer to Jianshui, a small country town in southern Yunnan. It is a cultural city. We will visit Confucius' Temple and Zhu' s Garden. This grand complex with its labyrinth of 42 courtyards and magnificent Chinese architecture is something now rarely seen in China. Then a stop at Chaoyang Gate Arch, its significance to Jianshui is the same as that of Tiananmen to Beijing; thus it has enjoyed the reputation of "the Miniature Tiananmen"

Day 9 Jiangshui / Yuanyang (B/L/-)

Today's highlight is Jingkou Hani People's Village. Many ethnic groups, The Dai, The Yao and the The Miao, live in the Ailao mountains. Women who are expert at tie-dying and embroidery. The Hani and Yi ethnic groups live on the mountain sides amidst tea plantations. Their terraced fields are one of the most inspiring scenes in southern Yunnan resembling silver ladders, stretching from the foot of the mountains to the summit. Stay in local hotel.
Day 10 Yuanyang / Jianshui (B/L/-)
Visit the Sheng Village Terrace Fields with spectacular views and see Tiger Mouth Terrace Field. Yuanyang rice terraces are without doubt the most beautiful and spectacular paddy fields in China! Those rice fields have been carved on the mountains by the Hani people for centuries. Catching a sunrise or sunset on those terraces full of water is one of the greatest highlights to any trip in China. Return to Jianshui.
Day 11 Jianshui / Shilin (B/L/-)

Drive to Shilin and visit Stone Forest, the geological Karst wonder with the colorful Sani people living around. Stone Forest is one of the natural wonders of Yunnan, a World Heritage site. It consists of gray karst limestone rocks, covering an area of 400km2 (96,000 acres) and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots.
Day 12 Shilin / Kunming (B/L/-)

After breakfast, take coach back to Kunming. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the sites of and beauty of “Spring City” Kunming..
Day 13 Kunming / Departure (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
