Welcome to Guilin, one of China's top attractive destinations, has long been renowned for its unique scenery. We meet you at Liangjian international airport and transfer you to Foggy Resort.
Foggy Resort is the best hotel in this village. It is 40 min ride away from downtown Guilin, with a nice outdoor swimming pool located in the center of the hotel. It is located in the center of rice paddies, a famous scenic spot - Crown Cave is in walking distance. In weekends, the hotel is pretty full, people usually arrive here at night on Friday, seeping beer by the swimming pool, counting stars that we have not seen for a long time in the city. Visit the cave, enjoy countryside life in the next morning, catch the Li River Cruise to Yangshuo.
A hiking trip along the beautiful Li River is a exciting experience at Guilin.
After breakfast, take the ferry boat to the opposite side of Li River for hiking. There are total 4 times to take the ferry boat before getting to Xingping.
The first stop of the trip is Yangdi village. It is located on the west bank of Li River, about 46 km from Guilin. The landscapes here is very spectacular, you can enjoy elegant mountains, winding water, delicate beach, striking waterfall, dense green bamboos and dotted villages. Yangdi is also an ideal place to enjoy the misty rain of Li River, Which seems to be a wonderland, quiet, peaceful and mysterious in spring.
After several hours' hiking, your lunch will be arranged at local farmers' restaurant.
Along the river side, pass throught some local villages where kids play in the yards, there are water buffalos hanging around, passing by the rice paddies and pomelo or tangerine yards.
The highlight of this trip is the ending of this route - Xingping ancient town, located 25 km north of Yangshuo and at east bank of Li River.
The picture on the back the Chinese 20 Yuan note is also located here, you can actually go to the exact spot from where the photo was taken.
At last, take bus to Yangshuo.
In the morning, to be transferred through the countryside with rice paddies to visit the Ancient Banyan Tree Park and the Moon Hill, you may also climb 890 steps up to the moon hill to see the beautiful scenery. Then, drive back to Guilin airport for your flight to your next destination.
