Day 1 Arrive at Beijing (-/-/-)

Welcome to Beijing, where the capital, political, and cultural center of China lies. We meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you have free time to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B/L/-)
Pick-up from your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am, and then drive to Ming Tombs (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving).
Ming Tombs(The thirteen Ming Tombs) are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. You will visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle(the first emperor in Beijing)and his Empress Xu were buried. The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour. The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45am.
Before having lunch (11:30am), You will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Friend Yongsheng Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
Having traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.
On the way to your hotels, we also arrange a short visit to "The Bird's Nest"--the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games. What you should pay more attention to is that this is a just exterior visit to watch the exterior appearance which is also wonderful.
Day 3 Beijing / Xian (B/L/-)

Pick-up at your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am, we will take you to visit Tian'anmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. Have a free walk there, imagining the great historic events of the 20th century that took place there. You will also see legendary landmarks including the Great Hall of the People and the towering 125 foot granite obelisk, Monument to the People's Heroes, honoring those who died in revolution.
And then driving to Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient palaces group with 500 years history in the world.
Visit Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.
On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. After having a short rest, we'll visit the Temple of Heaven -- the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour.
After Western and Chinese buffet lunch (40 minutes ) in Bangfuchun Restaurant, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market.
Driving (30minutes) to Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. The visit takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Transferred to the airport for the flight to Xian. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to the hotel.
Day 4 Xian (B/L/-)
Pick-up from your hotel between 8:30am and 9:00am.
First visit the Terra-cotta Warriors - this profound discovery made a sensation across the whole world!
After lunch, then visit Big Goose Pagoda and Banpo Museum - 6000 years ago, a village was set up by a late Neolithic people. Transfer back to your hotel at around 6:00pm.

Day 5 Xian / Chongqing (B/-/-)

Pick-up from your hotel between 8:30am and 9:00am.
First visit Shaanxi Provincial History Museum - a large modern museum of the national level. Then visit Xian Ancient City Wall - it has been preserved intact, which is rarely seen in the world. The Grand Mosque, the biggest and most preserved complete Chinese existent mosque.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to the pier to board on the cruise boat - Ms. Victoria.
Day 6 Yangtze River (B/L/D)
Shore excursion to Shibaozhai this morning.
Day 7 Yangtze River (B/L/D)
Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges by smaller vessels this morning.
Day 8 Yangtze / Yichang / Shanghai (B/L/-)
Transfer via: Internal Flight on our arrangement
Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site this morning. After lunch, you will disembark the ship in Yichang at 13:00. Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and help you transfer to the airport for your flight to your Shanghai. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9 Shanghai (B/L/-)
Pick-up from your hotel between 8:30am and 9:00am, and then drive to Jade Buddha Temple. It was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1875-1909) and boasts a priceless collection of jade statues from Burma.
Then visit the Bund on Shanghai's waterfront and Pudong New Area, the symbol of old and new Shanghai. This part finishes at about 11:30.
Before having lunch (12:00 am), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of fresh water pearl gallery. Here we will see the process of pearl cultivation. Or visit Silk Factory, which is not only an interesting place to see how Chinese silk has been produced since 14th century, but also a desirable site to purchase it for a low price.
After lunch, driving to People's Square and Shanghai Urban Planning Center.
Visit the former French Concession, characterized by beautiful, tree-lined streets and weathered European architecture. And visit Shanghai's hottest new entertainment area, Xintiandi. The brick buildings on these tow-square blocks have been preserved and transformed into trendy clubs, restaurants and boutiques. You will have time on your own here, or you can go back to your hotel with the group.
Day 10 Shanghai / Suzhou / Zhouzhuang / Shanghai (B/-/-)
Pick up at your hotel between 7:30am and 8:00am, and then driving to Suzhou. Suzhou is one of the oldest towns in the Yangtze basin, founded in about 600 BC. With its interconnected waterways and beautiful environment, the city is often referred to as "The Venice of the East." Suzhou was one of the few cities in China to escape the ravages of the Cultural Revolution and its famous gardens survived almost completely intact.
Upon arrival in Suzhou, the first stop is Net Master Garden, the best and most celebrated as a model Ming Dynasty Garden in all of Suzhou. Then it's on to view the Ancient City Gate and Grand Canal and a tour of a silk spinning factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since 14the century.
After lunch visit the water town of Zhouzhuang and board a Chinese-style gondola to cruise the waterways of the city.
Transferred back to your hotels.
Day 11 Shanghai / Departure (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
