Upon arrival Chengdu, be met & transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Chengdu (B/-/-)
After breakfast, begin the day's activity with a visit to Leshan Giant Buddha. The Leshan Giant Buddha, a Buddha statue in sitting posture located at the confluence of three river. It was built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), It is 71 meters high, the largest carved stone Buddha in the world. Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area has also been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
In the afternoon, we will transfer back to Chengdu city, visit the Wangjianglou Park which may have a riverview of Minjiang river. By walking along the park, we will see the local people dancing, excising, playing Mah-jong, ect you also may have a cup of tea and enjoying a special local Massage by sitting on the chair, experience the laid-back lifestyle for which Chengdu is famous.
Day 3 Chengdu / Chongqing (B/L/-)

In the morning, we'll tour to the Panda Base, Situated in remote mountain in Sichuan Province, over 80% pandas of all the whole world live here. Here people can approach the pandas and take closely look and even pet them if desired. after lunch, take more than 2 hours train to Chongqing. Our guide will meet you at Chongqing railway station, If time permit, you also may visit Ciqikou old town with traditional Chongqing style buildings, tea houses,and Sichuan Opera houses. After dinner in the local restaurant, the boat will leave Chongqing city in the evening. Boarding on the ship tonight. Your relaxing Yangtze river cruise begins.
Day 4 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (about 1:00-3:00pm)
Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.
Day 5 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges (about 8:00am-1:00pm)
The Lesser Three Gorges are the three separate valleys of the Daning River: Dragon Gate Gorge, Misty Gorge and Emerald Gorge. These lie on the lower reaches of the Daning, which flows into the Yangtze. The gorges are truly spectacular. Sheer cliffs soar up towards the sky from the brown-green water. Mountain tops hover above the ribbon of mist, disconnected from their roots. Its "subtle mountains, clear waters, pretty rocks, dangerous rapids, sharp turns, fantastic caves, and stalactites in various shapes" create the timeless beauty that you see in Chinese landscape paintings. Monkeys, mandarin ducks and other water birds can be seen loitering on big boulders in this area.
Day 6 Yichang / Departure (B/-/- )

Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at 1:30pm. Disembark the ship then fly to next city.
Three Gorges Dam: the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.
