Welcome to Beijing, where the capital, political, and cultural center of China lies. We meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you have free time to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, begin the day's activity with a visit to Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square in the world. Then, move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden City", the biggest palace complex in the world. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served as Welcome Dinner.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L/D)
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Great Wall, Badaling section in the morning. After lunch, continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. Conclude the day tour after seeing the appearance of the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) in the distance on the way to the downtown. The cheering Peking Opera (the national opera) is scheduled as the evening delight after dinner.
Day 4 Beijing / Urumqi (B/L/-)

After a relaxed breakfast at hotel this morning, tour to Summer Palace, one of China's largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. In the afternoon, you will take a ride in rickshaw through some old "Hutongs", lanes or alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard) where you will visit some family. After visiting, take a flight to Urumqi, Upon arrival in Urumqi, be met by the local professional tour guide and transfer to the hotel.
Day5 Urumqi / Kashgar (B/L/-)

Morning tour to visit the Heavenly Lake, and then take the flight to Kashgar. Upon arrival, be met by the local guide and escort you to the hotel.
Day 6 Kashgar (B/L/-)
Sunday is market day in Kashgar and this is possibly the largest and most colorful market in Asia. Enjoy a full morning taking in the sights and sounds of this unforgettable experience. After lunch walk through a typical Uyghur neighborhood and visit a local family.
Day 7 Kashgar / Urumqi / Turpan (B/L/-)

This morning view the tomb of Abjak Hoja and the Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China, dating back to the 15th century. In the afternoon, fly to Urumqi then transfer to Turpan.
Day 8 Turpan / Dunhuang (B/L/-)
Visit the Jiaohe Ruins, which is crowned as the "Perfect Earthen Castle in the World". the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda, later have a visit to a Uigur family.
Day 9 Turpan / Dunhuang (B/L/-)
Transfer via: Internal soft sleeper overnight train
Visit the ancient Gaochang city (Karakhoja), built in the second century BC, which features the Astana Tombs, only three of which are open to the public. The Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming Hill. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang.
Day 9 Dunhuang (-/L/-)
Pick you up at the railway station and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Mogao Grottoes which is the largest sanctum of Buddhist art including richest content in the world, and the Dunhuang Museum.
Day 10 Duhuang / Xian (B/L/-)
You will experience a short camel-ride along the Echoing-Sand Dune to reach the Crescent Lake. Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel.
Day 11 Xian (B/L/-)
Begin the day's activity with an once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors of China's first feudal Emperor, Qin Shihuang. On your way back to the city, stop at a mountain village and meet local residents. After lunch, you will visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang.
Day 12 Xian (B/L/-)
After breakfast, visit Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum. This roomy, modern museum contains over 370,000 relics chronicling Shaanxi civilization and culture from as far as prehistoric times. The collection is strong in ceramics, bronzes, jade pieces, gold and silver items, ancient coins, and calligraphy mainly from the pre-Ming periods. After lunch, you will visit Xian Ancient City Wall, which is the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Day 13 Xian / Chongqing (B/L/D)
Head for Chongqing by flight and the local tour guide will expect you outside the baggage claim area at Chongqing Airport. You will have a brief city tour to the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and Ciqikou Old Street. You will check in at the cruise ship after dinner. As the ship departs from Chongqing, your relaxing Yangtze River cruise begins.
Day 14 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. (1:00-3:00pm)
Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.
Day 15 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges (8:00am-1:00pm)
The Lesser Three Gorges are the three separate valleys of the Daning River: Dragon Gate Gorge, Misty Gorge and Emerald Gorge. These lie on the lower reaches of the Daning, which flows into the Yangtze. The gorges are truly spectacular. Sheer cliffs soar up towards the sky from the brown-green water. Mountain tops hover above the ribbon of mist, disconnected from their roots. Its "subtle mountains, clear waters, pretty rocks, dangerous rapids, sharp turns, fantastic caves, and stalactites in various shapes" create the timeless beauty that you see in Chinese landscape paintings. Monkeys, mandarin ducks and other water birds can be seen loitering on big boulders in this area.
Day 16 Yichang /Shanghai(B/L/ )

Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at 1:30pm. Disembark the ship then fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, be met by local professional guide and transfer to the hotel.
Three Gorges Dam: the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.
Day 17 Shanghai (B/L/D)
This morning you will visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden an ancient classical garden, and Yuyuan Market. After lunch, visit Bund and Nanjing Road. After dinner you will enjoy a fabulous Acrobatic Show.
Day 18 Shanghai (B/L/-)
After breakfast, you will visit historic Zhujiajiao Ancient Water Town (50 minute drive from Shanghai). At Zhujiajiao, you will walk through Fangsheng Bridge, Beida Street, and the Xi Family Residence. You will feel as though you have stepped back in time. After your trip to this beautiful village, you will be driven back to Shanghai.
Day 19 Shanghai / Departure (B/-/-)
