
Crown Cave gains its name because the shape of it is like a crown. It is located in Caoping village 29km south of Guilin. It is one of the most famous tourist spots along Li River.
The cave has been well preserved, with an underground stream running from Mt. Haiyang, through the cave and into the Li River. It extends 12km, but only 3km nearest the river has been explored, and the deepest spot is over 10 meters. The cave has been set with a sightseeing elevator, small trains, sampans and sightseeing roller coasters. Tourists are able to see all of the most interesting area them, so it received the honour of Guinness world record for the most numerous way of touring a cave. The modern facilities intermingle with the natural stalagmites lead people into a fairyland. Riding in a raft down the river enchanting scenes will be unveiled before your eyes.
Visiting the cave is easy. You can take a bus from Guilin, or cruise down the Li River and make a stop at the Crown Cave Dock.
