Buddha Cave |

 Buddha Cave is located opposite Moon Hill in Yangshuo. fIt has an underground network of subterranean passageways that stretches for 5 km and passes through 3 mountains.. It is claimed that 10,000 people could actually fit into the cave itself. Tours through the cave take from 2-3 hours with a guide with a torch. All visitors must also wear safety helmets. The cave has fish and bats.
The attraction of the Buddha Cave is swimming in the mud and seaweed. After a mud bath, you can have a fresh shower in the waterfall. So remember to bring your swimwear.
The cave has a varied mixture of limestone rock formations including a range of stalactites and stalagmites, many of which are said to resemble images of Buddha. |
