What cloth should I pack?
It is depending on the time and destinations you will be visiting in China.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are not very cold and not very hot. It is the very comfortable season. You need shirts and light sweaters in most of China, but heavy jackets if you are traveling in the northern part of China. In winter (December to February), it is freezing cold in north China. You will need a down coat. In southern part of China is not as cold as that in north but it is bleak. Heave cold is also needed, except in Sanya, where is belong to tropic climate.
Summer (June-August) is hot and T-shirt is suitable for most area. If you go to high altitude area such Tibet, Kunming, Lijiang and Shangri-la, over clothes are needed.
Comfortable shoes are also very important. If you are going to be doing a lot of climbing, shoes with high sides and a hard sole will be the best choice. If you will only visit big cities, low- heeled light shoes will be very comfortable.

What medicine should I bring?
Besides the medicines you usually take at home, you need to bring pain killers, anti-inflammatory prescriptions and medicines for colds, fever and diarrhea. These medicines are especially helpful if you are going to visit Tibet. Please note that if you have problems with internal organs, such as heart, kidney, lungs etc., or if you have hypertension, or if you caught a cold, you should not go to lands with high altitude, such as Tibet.

Need I to bring my medical record?
Yes, all travelers are recommended to take their medical records along. In the event of an emergency your medical records will be of great assistance.
The medical record should include your blood type, immunization record, allergies, and any medications you are currently taking (both prescription and non-prescription), You should also include your doctor's name, address, phone number, emergency contact name and phone number, and your insurance company's name, address and phone number.

How should I dress for the Dang Dynasty Show or other shows?
There is no special requirement for dress. You can dress as casual as you like. Or if you have time and like to dress up is also OK.

What is the definition of high season, shoulder season and low season?
High season marks the most popular time for travel in a year. The weather conditions and other elements are very good for travelling as well. The numbers of traveler are during this period are much more than other period. The hotels, airlines and travel agencies are very busy. The price of hotel, air tickets, etc. is comparatively higher than in other seasons.
In China, generally speaking,
High season refers to April 1 to May 31, Sep 1 to Nov 15;
Shoulder season: June 1 to Aug 31;
Low season: Nov 16 to next Mar 31
However, there are slight differences between different hotels, airlines and travel agencies in different regions. High season in Tibet is from July to Oct 15. The rest of year considered to be low season. Lychee Travel reserves the right to define the different seasons.

What is the best time to visit China?
China is a vast country with many different landscapes and climates. It is really hard to say what time is best.
April, May, September and October are the peak months when the weather is most favorable, but travel in these months, the cost is the most. Prices drop in shoulder season- from late March through April and from June to the end of August. The low season is from late November, and continues through the winter when crowds are few and prices lowest.

From which city can I entry China? Does your quotation include the international flights?
The most convenient entry and exit city for China are Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong; however other places are available such as Guilin and Kunming, etc. There are frequent flights to and from cities in all parts of the world.
The quotation you get from Lychee Travel does not include international airfare. According to our experience, we suggest that you'd better obtain the international air tickets in your departure country, as special discounted offered there.

What documentations do I need to travel in China?
Your passport which is valid for at least 3 month after your visit to China.
Visa and permits when necessary. The visa should be approved prior to entering China.
If you are going to Tibet, Tibet permit is requested. It must be obtained 15 days before entering Tibet. If you want to go further to the "Unopened" areas, you also need an Alien's travel permit issued by the PSB of Tibet.
We suggest you take your medical record with you in case that you need it the event of an emergency as well as your doctor's name, address and contact number. Your emergency contact name and phone number, and your insurance company's name, address and phone number are also better to be with you.
